From Midi control of channel switching to complete Midi controlled multi-amp rigs, the MidiPro can be a very powerful tool in any musician's system.

It can be used to allow simultaneous channel switching of an amplifier and patch selection of an effects unit while pressing a single footswitch button (thereby eliminating the "footswitch dance" procedure normally used). For ease of operation, the settings are simply changed by pressing the appropriate Switch button and pressing-and-holding the Store button.

The built in A/B systems allow the user to switch one guitar between two amplifiers, switch between two guitars into a single amplifier, bypass effects units, A/B between different preamps, select two different power amp/speaker combinations, etc. They can also be used as Midi Mutes— to mute the return of a patch point while disconnecting it from the send.

The Midi Filter button allows the user to determine whether or not the particular Midi patch change is sent out the Midi Out jack-thereby allowing the system to operate independently from other Midi devices. Other Midi implimentations include Midi channel selection 0-16 and Omni, as well as Midi Exclusive dumps from one Midipro to another.
