From 1980s Ibanez Ad:

Through a new developed encording-decording system TSADAS (Time sharing Analog Digital-Analog-system), the DM1000 has established a new standard of excellence in digital sound processing. With the advent of the DM1000, digital delay is now easily within reach of virtually every musician or working studio.

SPECIAL EFFECTS

An infinitely variable delay time (ranging from 1.75 ms to 900 ms) renders the DM1000 capable of a wide variety of special effects including; doubling, flanging, chorusing, hard reverberation, slap back and long delay, The DM1000 also features a hold switch which permits an audio segment to be repeated infinitely without suffering degeneration of sound quality. When used in conjunction with the long delay setting, an audio segment of up to 900 ms long can be set and held for use as a backing rhythm track or contrapuntal playing. (An optional footswitch is available for operation

of this function.)

APPLICATIONS

A full range frequency response of up to 8KHz at all delay settings, improved noise reduction circuitry, plus a multipurpose input/output configuration means the DM1000 is ideally suited for all types of P.A., recording and instrumental appli-cations. Housed in a rugged ElA standard 19' cabinet, the DM1000 features a full complement of led indicators (Power on, Infinite hold, Bypass/Effect and Headroom Indicator)

Although the lowest priced unit on the market today, the DM1000 will match the performance of other digital delay units costing nearly twice as much.
