It's not modeling, it's imaging! The Aura takes the actual signal from your guitar and applies a stored "acoustic image," transforming that dry, direct sound into the shimmering tone you'd get if you were playing your guitar into a quality studio microphone.

The essence of what makes an acoustic guitar sound great actually happens in FRONT of the guitar, as the combination of struck strings, a vibrating top and their interaction with the air moving inside the "box" of the guitar's body results in "that" sound. The great attribute of pickups is their ability to generate high volume levels before feedback - which is great for volume but a real compromise in tonal warmth. The Aura lets you retain your volume levels while adding the image and tone of a well-miked guitar. It's the best of both worlds!
